FOCUSfactor, the leader in brain nutrition, wanted more presence online. While customers cannot purchase products directly online, it is important to show in search engine results that their brain supplement really is number one. Thus began intensive keyword strategy and preparation.
Ultimately eighteen keywords were chosen that best fit the integrity of the company and closely matched what keywords people would be searching to find a supplement like FOCUSfactor. All of these keywords were considered 100+ – that means FOCUSfactor was not found on these keyword searches within the first ten pages of Google – virtually invisible.
We began intense search engine optimization procedures and were pleased with how quickly the keywords began to move. Within four months, 90% of the keywords were on page one of the Google searches. Three of the keywords appeared on the top five keyword search, just under “focusfactor” and “focus factor”. Traffic has increased ten-fold and the presence of FOCUSfactor has increased. Not only has this helped FOCUSfactor’s presence increase, it has also helped all the retail stores that sell the product.
Life’s A Beach Powersport Rentals
We were fortunate to meet lovely people during last year’s trip to Lake Havasu, Arizona. We needed to rent two jet skis and happened upon Life’s a Beach. The owner Brook was delightful and wonderful with customer service. We decided we wanted to help this company out with their website visibility – it was invisible.
Our first step was to move the website over to WordPress and spruce it up a bit. Then we used some great WordPress plugins that are geared towards SEO. We then chose three keywords that were relevant to the business and began our SEO efforts.
Within one week, we received a call from Brook wondering what was going on – her phone was ringing more than it ever has! By the time boating season began, her three keywords were on page one and Life’s a Beach was booked every weekend.
We were able to have a wonderful vacation this summer – thanks to trading services with Brook and are now working on a new custom motorcycle website for her husband John!
